Matthew Berkowitz
Matthew Berkowitz is an American film director, writer, producer and journalist. He has directed three movies (Wild in Blue, A Violent Man, Inside Me).

Early life and career
Berkowitz went to Pitzer College in Claremont, California, where he studied philosophy and film.[1]
He started his career in the film industry and made his film-writing and directing debut in 2015, from his film Wild in Blue.[2][3] Later in 2017, he wrote and directed a thriller film A Violent Man.[4] It was premiered at the Oldenburg International Film Festival and Miami Film Festival, which starred Denise Richards, Thomas Q. Jones, Chuck Liddell, and Isaach de Bankolé.[5][6]
He also wrote and directed a psychological thriller Inside Me, currently in post-production starring Merrin Dungey, Devon Graye, Thomas Q. Jones, John Buffalo Mailer, and Anthony DeSando.[7]
Berkowitz has also produced several films including DieRy and The Queen of Hollywood Blvd.[8][9]

Awards
"Wild in Blue" won Best Director at Madrid International Film Festival. "A Violent Man" was nominated for the Best Feature Film award at Miami International Film Festival.[10]
