Maggie Shipstead
Maggie Shipstead is an American novelist. She is the author of Seating Arrangements (2012) and Astonish Me (2014).[2][3][4] Seating Arrangements won the Dylan Thomas Prize and the Art Seidenbaum Award for First Fiction in 2012.[5] Her third novel, Great Circle, is due to debut in Spring 2021.[6]

Shipstead also spends much of her time traveling the world and is a frequent contributor to magazines including Condé Nast Traveler and Departures.
She grew up in Mission Viejo, California[5] and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.[6]
