MEC Canada
MEC Canada operating a MEC is a chain of Canadian retail stores that sell outdoor recreation gear and clothing created when MEC Canada purchased the assets of Mountain Equipment Co-Op, a Canadian co-operative retailer.[1] The company was founded around October 2020 when the American private equity firm Kingswood Capital Management purchased (through MEC Canada Inc) the assets of Mountain Equipment Co-Op.
