Loxostege allectalis
Loxostege allectalis is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by Augustus Radcliffe Grote in 1877.[1] It is found in the United States, where it has been recorded from southern California to Texas.[2] To the south, the range extends into Mexico and Central America.

The wingspan is 21–26 mm. The forewings are a mixture of speckled gray and brown patches and dark brownish spots in the median area. The terminal line consists of a series of dark dashes. The hindwings are brownish gray. Adults are on wing from March to September.
The larvae feed on Lycium berlandieri.[3]
