Livio Bazzoli

Livio Bazzoli (born 14 February 1956 in Merano, Italy) was an Italian international football referee.[1]

Career

He officiated 4 international matches and was member of FIFA in 1996-2000. He attributed two EURO 2000 qualifying matches[2] and others were in friendly matches. He gave two red card in EURO 2000 qualification match played between Austria-Cyprus (3:1) to austrian Robert Ibertsberger and cypriot Milenko Špoljarić.[3]

In club football he officiated some UEFA competition matches such as UEFA Cup and qualification (5+4) and Intertoto Cup (3). [4] He refereed 128 Serie A matches, 13 Serie B matches and 22 Coppa Italia matches in 1991-2000. He also officiated 1997 Supercoppa Italiana match that played between Juventus and Vicenza (3:0).

Personal life

Unexpectedly, he left from international refereeing career in 2000 due to a knee injury. After some years, in 2011-2012 season he appointed Deputy Commissioner of National Referees Commission (CAN A) for 4 season, until the end of the 2014-15 season. [5]
