List of storms named Quinta
After causing devastating damages during its onslaught the name was retired by The Philippines' weather bureau the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration and Querubin was chosen as it's replacement name for 2024.[1][2]
Typhoon Quinta may refer to:
- Typhoon Meari (2004) (T0421, 25W, Quinta) – struck Japan
- Tropical Storm Maysak (2008) (T0819, 24W, Quinta-Siony) – Quinta was renamed as "Siony"
- Tropical Storm Wukong (2012) (T1225, 27W, Quinta) – brought flash floods to the Philippines
- Typhoon Molave (2020) (T2018, 21W, Quinta) - a powerful typhoon which devastated the Southern Luzon area of the Philippines and Vietnam. PAGASA removed this name after leaving nearly ₱4.22 billion in damages.
