List of festivals in West Bengal

West Bengal celebrates many holidays and festivals. The Bengali proverb “Baro Mase Tero Parbon” (“Thirteen festivals in twelve months”) indicates the abundant of festivity in the state. In West Bengal throughout the year many festivals are celebrated.
