List of accolades received by Dunkirk
Dunkirk is a 2017 epic war film directed, co-produced, and written by Christopher Nolan. The film depicts the Dunkirk evacuation of World War II.[1] Its ensemble cast includes Fionn Whitehead, Tom Glynn-Carney, Jack Lowden, Harry Styles, Aneurin Barnard, James D'Arcy, Barry Keoghan, Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, Mark Rylance and Tom Hardy. The film had its world premiere at the Odeon Leicester Square in London on 13 July 2017[2][3] and was released to theaters on 21 July 2017.[4]

Dunkirk received eight nominations at the 23rd Critics' Choice Awards for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Acting Ensemble, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Visual Effects, Best Score and Best Production Design.[5] The film received three nominations at the 75th Golden Globe Awards for Best Motion Picture – Drama, Best Director and Best Original Score.[6] The film received eight nominations at the 90th Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Original Score, Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing, and Best Production Design.[7]
