| Aunt Sweet Potato collapses, and Aunt Sweet Potato's daughters are kidnapped. Jiumei decides to sing to collect some money for her family's medical fees. Boss Hong makes trouble to kill Black Snake, and also together with Limping Dragon to lure "Laughing" out. Xiaoxiao is furious. He later reappears as "Laughing" and kills Boss Hong and one of his accomplices. Meanwhile, after Chen Ji killed Aunt Snake, "Laughing" lets Chen Ji be his scapegoat. Limping Dragon shoots the fake "Laughing". He decides to conveniently allow Chen Ji to be "Laughing", to which Limping Dragon announces the case solved. | ||||

| Xu Kun sends presents to Jiumei, and even invites her to lunch. Xiaoyue is displeased about it, but however, Jiumei does not like a bit about Xu Kun. After she leaves Xu Kun in the middle of their lunch, Yu Hong receives a telephone call from Xu Kun, and replacing the role of which Xiaoyue was about to act to Jiumei. Jiumei tries to deny the replacement, but however, she gets mocked at for refusing. This even strained Jiumei's relationship with Liguang. Xiaoyue even tries to harm Jiumei by putting medicine in her tea to ruin her voice, similar to what Ye Jun does in the past. Meanwhile, Yu Hong was drugged by Xu Kun's men before sacrificing herself to Lin Richuan. Liguang tries to save her. Not only he fails to do so, he was also beaten up. | ||||

| Yu Hong shares information about Xu Kun and Lin Richuan as Japanese spies to Chen Guosheng. Ye Jun overhears, and sent a hitman to kill Chen Guosheng. Meanwhile, Hua-gu owes a huge debt and Ba Jie will send Hua-gu to the brothel if she doesn't return the debt. Jiumei cannot bear to see this happen and asks Xu Kun for help, telling him apart from betraying herself, she is willing to do anything in return for his help. Xu Kun immediately buys over the troupe, but however swopped Jiumei and Yu Hong's musical roles, much to Jiumei's disagreement. Yu Hong is devastated, and feels sick afterwards. | ||||

| Qiao'er wants to kill Xu Kun, Yu Hong and Jiumei. Mo Liguang rescues both Yu Hong and Jiumei in the nick of time, but leaves the already killed Xu Kun in the raging fire. Qiao'er is nowhere to be found after that. The musical opens and Yu Hong prepares for the main lead. Nobody in the theatre knows that Qiao'er is hiding in the theatre and plotting her next move... | ||||
