Liora Herzl
Liora Herzl (born 1954 Tel Aviv) is an Israeli diplomat. From 2001 to 2005, she was the Israeli ambassador to Norway,[1][2] serving concurrently as the Israeli ambassador to Iceland.[3][4]
Life
She graduated from the Tel Aviv University in political science. In 1978, she entered the Israeli Foreign Service. She then served in the United States and the Netherlands, and in several senior positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
She wrote against a sculpture in Oslo.[5] She worked at the Israel National Defense College.[3]
Family
Herzl has a family background from Romania, Lithuania, Ukraine and Germany, and is related to Theodor Herzl.[6][7]
