Legavrik
Legavrik (from Scottish Gaelic leth-gheamhradh – literally "half-winter") was the name for winter (1 November to 30 April)[1] in Scotland. Variants include legawreik.
Legavrik is also the name of one of the eight annual fairs of Inverness, held on 1 February.[2]
