"Lass los" (German pronunciation: [las loːs]; transl."Let go") is a song recorded by German-Albanian rapper Azet and Kosovo-Albanian singer and songwriter Dhurata Dora. The German-language song was written by the aforementioned artists and produced by German producer Jugglerz.

The single experienced commercial success and reached number four in Switzerland. It also peaked number ten in Austria and Germany respectively, while in Albania it went on to number forty-four. An official music video for the song was shot in Germany and was uploaded on 27 February 2020 onto YouTube to accompany the single's release.

Background

Composition

"Lass los", has a running time of three minutes and is performed in the key of F minor in common time with an andante moderato tempo of 104 beats per minute.[1] The song was composed by Albanian musician Adrian Luboja and produced by German producer Jugglerz whilst it was solely written by Azet and Dhurata Dora.[2] It marks the first time that both artists have collaborated musically on a recording also constituting Dhurata Dora's first song entirely performed in the German language.[3]

Promotion

An accompanying music video for the song was officially premiered onto the YouTube channel of Azet's music label KMN Gang on 27 February 2020, where it has since amassed a total of 7.5 million views.[4][5][6][7] The song was released on digital platforms and to streaming services as a single on 28 February 2020 through Dora under exclusive license to Groove Attack.
