Krishnaswamy Natarajan
Krishnaswamy Natarajan, is the current Director General of the Indian Coast Guard who assumed the office on 1 July 2019 after Director General Rajendra Singh retired.[2][3][4][5]

Career
He joined the Indian Coast Guard on 18 January 1984 and did his education in Chennai. The Officer holds a master's degree in Defence & Strategic Studies from Madras University. He is an alumnus of the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington. He has specialized in Search and Rescue as well as Maritime Safety and Port Operations, at the US Coast Guard Reserve Training Centre, Yorktown, Virginia.[6]
