Kirill Pisarev (Russian: Кирилл Валерьевич Писарев; born June 16, 1969), is a Russian entrepreneur, investor and a co-founder of PIK Group, ) is a Russian entrepreneur who is best known for being the founder of PIK Group, one of the major Russian real estate developers, and later Wainbridge (Wainbridge International) where he is the main Shareholder and Board Chairman. He is also the Founder of The Collection, a luxury properties operator. Total work experience in real estate market refer to more than 25 years of great performance. Early life

Kirill Pisarev was born in Moscow, Russia. In 1987-89, he served in the Soviet Army. He graduated from the State Finance Academy of the Russian Government with a degree in Finance and Credit in 1995.[1]

Career

In 1994, Kirill Pisarev co-founded the first mortgage company (“PIK Group”).[2] By 2007 the company had become Russia’s largest residential developer, bringing online in excess of 1 million square meters of space per year. In June 2007, PIK Group completed a $1.93 billion IPO on the London (LSE) and Russian (RTS, MICEX) stock exchanges, the largest ever real estate IPO in Europe and globally (non-REIT). The company was valued at $12.3 billion.[3] To date, PIK Group has completed in excess of 13 million square meters of housing.[4] Pisarev served as the President of the company between 1994-2009. In 2009-11, he acted as the Chairman of the Board and a Director of the company.[1] In 1994 Pisarev together with his partner Yuri Zhukov founded PIK Group (Russian: Группа Компаний “Первая Ипотечная Компания” ). By 2007 PIK Group had become one of the largest Russian real estate developers, built more than 10,7M sq. ft. annually. The company went public in 2007 on the LSE, reaching a valuation of $12.3 billion. During Pisarev’s leading the company it built over 140M sq.ft. of property. For 15 years since 1994 Kirill Pisarev was President of PIK Group and since 2009 till September 2011 – Chairman of the Board.

Wainbridge

In 2008 in London Kirill Pisarev founded Wainbridge (http://wainbridge.com), now he is a major shareholder and board chairman of company. Then Wainbridge activity is spread over other world’s markets and today it is an international development manager operating in the US, UK, Russia, France and specializing in residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes of premium segment, including boutique-hotels and hi-end villas. Wainbridge has collected more than 30 unique projects in its portfolio. To date Wainbridge has 5 international offices and is constantly seeking new opportunities to expand its presence in the world. Also Kirill Pisarev is an investor in the funds Wainbridge Global Opportunities (London commercial property), Wainbridge Special Situations (investments in debt tools of the US real estate market). Pisarev is a member of the investment advisory committee Wainbridge Limited, a real estate asset management company. In addition, Pisarev owns 50% of the Mortgage Bank.

Mikhail Serdtsev, former co-owner of Absolut Bank, and one of Wainbridge co-owner suggested Pisarev a new investment idea, a big project - production of bioprotein for the animal feed industry. The company has bought an exclusive license from the Danish Unibio to use in Russia the technology of processing natural gas by bacteria. Today one factory has been built on the border with Estonia, in the suburbs of Ivangorod.

Pisarev’s current business interests have been reported to include: Wainbridge Capital,[5] a Jersey-registered real estate investment and asset management company; The Collection,[6] a luxury property services company; and Housing Financing Bank,[7] a Russia-based specialized residential mortgage originator.
