Kakaraparti Bhavanarayana College is an Indian Higher Educational Institution located in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. which was established in 1965.

History

The college was founded by Sri. Kakaraparti Bhavanarayana Sresti (Late) with the foundation stone being laid on 6 November 1964 by Kasu Brahmananda Reddy, then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and popularly known as KBN College. The college opened in July 1965 with 220 students and 15 staff. The founder Principal was S. Sundaram. The school's motto is "TEJASWINAVADHITAMASTU" ("Let us learn while enlightened").

Kakaraparti Bhavanarayana College (KBN) is the outcome of a century old, charitable organization: S.K.P.V.V. Hindu High Schools Committee.

The school received an NAAC 'A' grade in 2013; with CPE in 2016 and All India 92nd Rank in NIRF by MHRD in 2017. The College is presently affiliated to Krishna University, Machilipatnam.

KBNCPGC - KBN College PG Centre affiliated with Krishna University. The college offers full-time diploma & degree courses for engineering students & to create manpower in the society.
