Josh Richards (internet personality)

Joshua Kenneth Richards (Toronto, Canada, January 31, 2002) is a Canadian internet personality. Originally from Cold Springs, Ontario, he attended St. Mary Catholic Secondary School (SMCSS) for his secondary education in Cobourg, Ontario. He has a following on a number of social media platforms and serves as chief strategy officer of Triller.

Life

Richards was born on January 31, 2002, in Toronto, Ontario. He has 2 younger siblings, Olivia and William.[1]

He has garnered a following of 24 million on TikTok, 2.4 million[2] on YouTube, and 7.1 million on Instagram.[3][1] His posts often include dancing, lip syncing, and video skits. He has resided in the Sway House since January 2020. He has acted in films including Brother's Keeper and Summertime Dropouts.[1] In March 2020, Richards released diss track aimed at Lil Huddy titled, "Still Softish" featuring Bryce Hall.[1] Richards is the co-founder of TalentX Entertainment. In July 2020, Richards became the first artist to sign a recording contract with Talent X and Warner Records.[3] He is an investor and the chief strategy officer of Triller.[4][5]

According to a Forbes report published in August 2020, Richards earned $1.5 million in 2019 from his numerous sponsorship deals. Making him the fifth highest-earning TikTok star.[6]
