Johanne Gonthier
Johanne Gonthier (born November 3, 1954 in Montreal, Quebec) is a Canadian politician. She is the current Member of National Assembly of Quebec for the riding of Mégantic-Compton in the Estrie region. She is the daughter of former MNA Madeleine Bélanger, who was elected from 1983 to 2003 in the same riding. She represents the Quebec Liberal Party

Gonthier worked in public relations and marketing for 20 years and was the director of the Chambre de Commerce de la région de Mégantic (Lac-Megantic region Chamber of Commerce) since 2003. She was narrowly elected in the 2007 elections and was named the Parliamentary Secretary to Minister of Natural Resources and Wildlife, a portfolio currently held by Claude Béchard.
