Originally wanting to become a journalist, a career in promotion was kicked off after a much hyped birthday event at the Soho Revue Bar, attended by Alexander McQueen, Kate Moss, Amy Winehouse and Boy George, leading to the management requesting Harsh start her own club night, "Circus".[4] This came after four years working in clubs such as The End in London and Space in Ibiza. In late 2010, Harsh started an infamous weekday club nights called "Room Service".

In April 2016 it was announced that Harsh has filmed scenes for Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, a film adaptation of the cult British TV series, shown in cinemas worldwide starting 1 July 2016. Jodie is playing herself in the movie, which stars Jennifer Saunders, Joanna Lumley and supermodel Kate Moss.[5]
In 2021, Harsh made a guest appearance on the third episode of RuPaul's Drag Race UK Series 2 on BBC Three. [6]
