Career
Jblessing started off as a freelance video director and producer; he later founded Link Video Global,[1] a production company based in Nairobi. Link Video has launched and established the careers of several musicians and producers, including Willy Paul[2] and music video producer Young Wallace.
Blessing directed the Churchill Show in 2016–2017 and again in 2019; he left the first time to grow Link Video,[3] and he was forced out the second time for reported disagreements with management, apparently over the company's refusal to pay airfare for his assistant.[4] In 2017, an error made by Blessing caused NTV, broadcaster of the programme, to be unable to air an entire episode.[5]
Personal life
Blessing was formerly engaged with Chantelle; the two had a son named Kyle who died at the age of six months.[6] J Blessing broke up with her in 2017 after she uploaded a video to social media showing her kissing another man;[7] she maintained that they were never married and that the relationship never truly came together.[8]
