Jan Peters (engineer)
Jan Peters MBE is an engineer, consultant and campaigner for diversity in STEM.[1] From 2008 to 2010, Peters was the President of the Women's Engineering Society.[2]
Peters founded education consultancy Katalytik in 2004. She worked with organisations such as the Royal Society, where she was Equality and Diversity Manager, University College London Engineering, and HESTEM.[3][4]
Peters was awarded an MBE in the 2017 New Year Honours.[5] The same year, she was also awarded an honorary doctorate from Bournemouth University.[6][7]
In 2018, Peters co-founded Mission Reignition, an organisation aiming to create a science centre in Christchurch.[8]
