Issru

Issru is a village situated near Khanna, Ludhiana, in Punjab, a state near the northern tip of India. It is a small municipality near Malerkotla Road, about 12 miles south from the town of Khanna.[1]

Isru is considered an historic village in India, due to its significance in being the place that Karnail Singh Benipal belonged to, who sacrificed his life for the Goa Liberation Movement.[6]
