Irina Bogatova

Irina Bogatova (Russian: Ирина Богатова; born March 1960) is a former Soviet long track speed skater, who was active in the 1980s and early 1990s.[1]

Bogatova represented her nation three times at the World Allround Speed Skating Championships for Women. In 1985 (finishing 16th overall), In 1988 (finishing 8th overall) and in 1989 (finishing 15th overall).[2] She participated at the European Speed Skating Championships for Women in 1985, 1989 and 1990. She also competed at other international competitions, including at ISU Speed Skating World Cups.[2]

Between 1981 and 1992 she competed a total of times at the Soviet Allround Championships, Soviet Sprint Championships and single distances national championships. She became national allround champion in 1990, won the silver medal in 1989 and the bronze medal in 1985 and 1991.[2]
