The Inter-Disciplinary Programme (IDP) in Educational Technology was established at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in 2010. This is primarily a research group actively involved in research and education in the area of technologies to promote the learning-teaching process. It offers Ph.D programme

Introduction

The research focus of the IDP-ET are innovative pedagogies and instructional strategies,[1][2] technology enhanced learning of thinking skills,[3] and teacher use of educational technology, Tools and Strategies.

Faculty

There are eleven faculty members supported by technical staff. The faculty at IDP in ET come from backgrounds like Engineering, Industrial Design, Sciences and Education.

Admission

Students can secure admission in the IDP by writing an in-house conducted entrance test and based on their scores and statement of purpose are called for an interview. Admissions take place in May and December
