Ice Lake Rebels
Ice Lake Rebels is a reality TV show about houseboat dwellers in Great Slave Lake.[1] It was filmed about 15 minutes by car[2] from the nearest Walmart, in Yellowknife, a city of about 21,000.[3]

A main character is Stephan Hervieux, part owner of the Kimberlite houseboat, husband to Allyce and father to Dora.[4]
It aired on Animal Planet[5] for two seasons, 2014 to 2016.[6] The show was produced by Critical Content of Los Angeles,[7] and aired on Animal Planet.[8] The producer was Kathryn Haydn Hays.[9]
Critics from The New York Times and the Boston Herald mainly commented on the difficult conditions depicted in the show, praising the characters' determination but not much else.[10]
