IK Ogbonna
Ikechukwu Mitchel Ogbonna, professionally known as IK Ogbonna, is a Nigerian film and television actor, Model, Director and TV Personality. He originated from the area of Abia State, which is in the south-eastern part of Nigeria. He attended primary and secondary school in Lagos State. He proceeded to the University of Jos, where he studied Sociology. He is popularly known for his role in the movie ‘Playing Safe’ alongside Tonto Dikeh and Ini Edo.[1] He was also featured in Disguise (2018), The Washerman (2018) and Pebbles of Love (2017).

Early life
Ikechukwu "IK" Ogbonna was born in Abia State, South-eastern Nigeria on 11 January 1984[2] and is the second in the family of four children consisting of two boys and two girls. He is of Igbo descent. He attended primary and secondary education in Lagos, Nigeria. While in Secondary School, he won the Milo Awards for Fine Arts. After completing his primary and secondary school education in Lagos, IK Obgonna proceeded to the University of Jos in Jos, Plateau State in Nigeria, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. After completing his tertiary education, IK Ogbonna joined the Nigerian film industry, also known as Nollywood, as an actor, and he rose through the ranks to become one of Nollywood's celebrated actors.[3]
Career
Ogbonna began acting after completing his education in University of Jos. He has featured in over 100 Nollywood movies. His first movie was Lovelom produced by Rukky Sanda in 2013. Ogbonna has won several awards, he is known for his stunning appearances on red carpets and he is also an ambassador for Dorco Shaving Stick. Ogbonna took part in the audition of the Amstel Malta Box Office television show in 2005 and was picked. He has been a model for quite a long time.[4]
Personal life
Ogbonna was married to a Colombian model named Sonia Morales. Before his marriage to Sonia Morales, Ogbonna was in a relationship with Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim.
