Traction

As the route is fully electrified, a Howrah Junction-based WAP-4 electric loco pulls the train up to Visakhapatnam, then a Erode Junction or Arakkonam Junction-based WAP-4 electric loco takes reverse direction and pulls the train up to its destination.
