Howard Love

Howard Love (born June 9, 1960) is an American executive, author and entrepreneur.[1] Love is the CEO of LoveToKnow, a digital publishing firm.[2][3][4]

Career

Love founded his first company, Inmark Development, while he was an undergraduate at Colgate University.[5] Inmark Development merged with Rogue Wave and subsequently went public.[6]

He is also an active angel investor, usually specializing in the consumer Internet and mobile sectors.[4] He has made over 50 such investments including OpenTable (IPO), Trulia (IPO),  Titan Aerospace (sold to Google), HotelTonight, and others.[7] Love has been an entrepreneur for the past 30 years, and has founded or co-founded over 15 companies.[8]

His first business book, The Start-Up J Curve[9] (Greenleaf Book Group) was published in 2016.[10][11]

Love was born in Detroit in 1960, and attended Phillips Exeter Academy (1974-1978) and Colgate University (1978-1983). He currently resides in Silicon Valley.[12]

He is the grandson of George Augustus Vaughn Jr. & George H. Love. His father was the CEO and chairman of National Steel and served on the boards of TWA and Monsanto.[13]
