House of Hazelwood

House of Hazelwood is a brand of art deco-inspired blended Scotch whisky, owned and produced by William Grant & Sons. The whisky is made with spirit produced at Girvan grain distillery, Kininvie malt distillery and spirit from the Grant family's private collection.[1]

The House of Hazelwood range was created as a tribute to William Grant's granddaughter, Janet Sheed Roberts, who died in April 2012 when she was the oldest person in Scotland.[2][3] She was a director of William Grant & Sons and an influential character within the company. Previous blends have been created under the Hazelwood name to commemorate her 100th and 110th birthdays.[4]

The brand's name is taken from that of Roberts' home, Hazelwood House, the dower house of Kininvie Castle.[5]
