Herbert Rogers
Lance-Corporal Herbert James Rogers (6 March 1893 – 12 October 1916) was an English cricketer. Rogers was a left-handed batsman who bowled right-arm off break.

Rogers made his first-class debut for Hampshire in the 1912 County Championship against Yorkshire. Rogers played for the club three times in the 1912 season.
In the 1913 season Rogers played a single County Championship match against Middlesex. In the 1914 season Rogers represented Hampshire a further three times, with his final first-class match coming against Derbyshire. The 1914 season was cut short by the start of the First World War.
Rogers served in the war, reaching the rank of Lance-Corporal in the 7th Battalion Seaforth Highlanders. Rogers was killed during the Battle of the Somme on 12 October 1916.
