Henry Russell (politician)

Henry Robert Russell (13 January 1817 30 April 1891) was a notable New Zealand runholder and politician. He was born in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland in 1817.[1] He was appointed to the New Zealand Legislative Council on 12 July 1862.[2] His membership lapsed on 11 June 1885 after he had been absent for two sessions (he had travelled to England in 1883).[1][2]
