Gunnar Michaelsen
Gunnar Michaelsen (born 5 November 1921 Vanløse, Denmark - died ?) was a Danish former international football referee.[1]
Career
He officiated 5 international matches and was FIFA referee in 1963–1971. e attributed a match in 1970 World Cup qualifying a,[2] a match in 1972 European Championship qualifying [3] and others were in friendly matches. He also officiated more matches in Danish Superliga. He appointed two penalty kickes. He also gave a red card in 1965 friendly match between Germany-Italy (1:1) to Italian Tarcisio Burgnich in 66th minute and in this match he also appointed a penalty kick against Italy that German Klaus-Dieter Sieloff converted it in the 41st minute.[4]
Gunnar Michaelsen also officiated club football matches such as European Champion Clubs' Cup (1), UEFA Cup Winners' Cup (3), Intertoto-Cup (1).
