Guillermo Rein
Guillermo Rein is a professor of fire science at the Imperial College London, Department of Mechanical Engineering. His research is focused on fire, combustion, and heat transfer. He is editor-in-chief of the journal Fire Technology since 2012.

Biography
Rein obtained his Industrial Engineering degree at ICAI School of Engineering in 1999. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, obtaining his MSc in 2003 and his PhD in 2005. He taught at the School of Engineering of the University of Edinburgh (2006–2012) and moved to the Imperial College in 2012.[2]
