Grietje Mulder

Grietje Carleer-Mulder (born 8 February 1966) is a Dutch former long track speed skater, who was active in the 1980s.[3]

She became part of the Dutch national team (KNSB-kernploeg), after riding for “Gewest Friesland” and “Jong Oranje”. [1]

Mulder represented her nation at the World Allround Speed Skating Championships for Women in 1987, finishing 23rd overall.[4] She participated at the European Speed Skating Championships for Women in 1985 (11th overall) and 1987 (11th overall). She also competed at other international competitions, including at ISU Speed Skating World Cups.[4]

Between 1983 and 1989 she competed at Dutch national championships. She won the silver medal at the 1989 Dutch Allround Championships, a silver medal at the single distances championships in 1988 at the 5000 metres and in 1989 a bronze medal in the 1500 metres.[4]

On 16 march 1988 she rode a speed skating world record in the 10000m metres with a time of 15.56,81. Three days later the record was broken by Yvonne van Gennip.
