History
Graduateland was founded in 2009 by Patrick Lund, Jens Reimer Olesen, Morten Petersen, Jesper Reeh, and Jonas Reeh. The online job board was launched in 2010.
In 2012, the first Graduateland Gateway was launched in collaboration with Copenhagen Business School.
In 2013, Graduateland received its first funding from Danish business development organization Accelerate Invest.[4][5]
By mid-2015 the Graduateland sister company Ontame.io was officially launched with the aim to create a new service for recruitment data analytics.[6]
In April 2016, the company acquired its Spanish competitor Tyba, a Madrid-based job platform specialized in the field of junior recruitment for the technology sector. Thereby, Graduateland expanded from Northern Europe towards Spain and France.[7]
In September 2016, Graduateland hosted its first virtual career fair, which is a digital recruitment event that takes place online with participants attending via electronic devices.[8]
Features
Users are able to search for jobs according to industry, job type, and geographic location. By creating a Job Alert users will receive updates when jobs who fit their criteria are posted. Although users can upload data from their Facebook, Google or Twitter profile,[9] they are not able to communicate with other users or have access to their profile information. This product can also be used as a customised career portal solution for universities.
