Born in Valjevo,[1] SR Serbia, spent his youth career in Red Star Belgrade and FK Partizan. He made his debut as senior in 2004, playing with FK BSK Borča in the Serbian League Belgrade.[1] He joined Red Star Belgrade on 16 January 2006 and was given the number 26 shirt of Red Star Belgrade. With Red Star he won the national championship and the Serbian cup (both in 2007). However, he did not get much chance to be in the starting line-up, so during the second half of the 2006–07 season, he was loaned to another SuperLiga side, FK Zemun.[1]
In summer 2008 he left Red Star and joined RFK Novi Sad playing in the Serbian First League[1] but during the winter break, in January 2009, he moved to FK Budućnost Podgorica, a traditionally strongest Montenegrin club. With Budućnost he will be twice runner-up of the Montenegrin First League, and a losing finalist of the 2009–10 Montenegrin Cup.[2] However, in summer 2012 he returned to Serbia and joined top flight side FK Spartak Zlatibor Voda.
In 2005, he was part of the Serbia and Montenegro U19 team.[3]
