Giuseppe Scarpi
Giuseppe Scarpi (born 25 December 1900 Dolo, Italy - died 13 October 1952 Dolo, Italy) was a retired Italian international football referee.[1]
Career
He officiated 10 international matches and was FIFA referee in 1936–1943. He attributed a match in 1938 World Cup and a match in 1936 Olympic Games.[2] and others were in friendly matches. He attributed two of four famous friendly GER-SUI matches around 1940–1942.[3][4]
In club football he officiated a Mitropa Cup final match in 1936 edition between Austria Wien-Sparta Prague 0:0.[5]
