Gisela Mayer
Gisela Mayer (30 October 1931 – 1 July 2020) was a German politician.

Mayer was a local politician in Ellwangen. She is the founder of the first women's list in Germany.[1][2]
In 1996 she received the Schorndorf Barbara-Künkelin-Preis for her involvement in local and women's politics. In 2003 she received the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. In 2007, Gisela Mayer received the Mittelstandspreis für soziale Verantwortung in Baden-Württemberg for her social commitment.[3]
Mayer died in Ellwangen on 1 July 2020, aged 88.[2]
