Giovanni Aloi
Giovanni Timeus Aloi (born 25 April 1965 in Mexico City) is a Mexican race car driver who drove 3 races for GA Motorsports for part of the 1990 International Formula 3000 season, but was not able to collect points. He finished 15th twice in a Reynard-Cosworth at Silverstone and Jerez. In 1990, he also tested for the Lamborghini/Modena Formula 1 team. He later became a matador.
Career
Aloi started his car racing career in 1988 in the Italian Formula 3 and Italian Formula 3000, but didn't score any points. In later years, he also appeared in the World Sports-Prototype Championship, Monaco Grand Prix Formula Three , Formula 3000, and Mexican Formula 3.
In the Formula 3000, Aloi took part in three races of the 1990 season with the British team GA Motorsports. However, he never scored points. He was ranked 35th in the final drivers' classification.
In the 1990 season, Aloi was the test driver for the Lamborghini Formula One team.
