Gerda Mylle
Gerda Mylle (5 September 1953 – 16 June 2020) was a Belgian politician of the Christen-Democratisch en Vlaams party. She became the first woman mayor of Izegem. She retired at the end of 2018, after being a politician for 30 years.[1]

Mylle was married, had three children and grandchildren. After a short-term hospitalization Mylle died unexpectedly in Izegem on 16 June 2020.[1]
