Flavius Plintha

Flavius Plintha (fl. 419–438) was an eastern Roman politician and general under Theodosius II and consul in 419. In 435 he negotiated the Treaty of Margus with Atilla the Hun.[1]

According to Sozomen, he was for some time the most powerful figure at the court of Theodosius II. His daughter married the magister militum Aspar, son of Ardaburius, thereby forming an alliance between Plintha and the Aspar's family.
