Faugh, Cumbria
Faugh is a small rural village within the City of Carlisle district. It is located in between the North Pennines and the Lake District, as well as being 15 miles from the border of Scotland.
The village has always been English however the land of Cumberland was once Scottish. The String of Horses Inn dates back to 1660, prior to the Jacobites rising.
