Fanny Pieroni-Davenport
Biography
She was a resident of Florence. She exhibited at the Florentine Promotrice of 1889 and 1890. At the Mostra Beatrice di lavori femminili (of feminine works), she won a silver medal for her paintings. Her husband was the painter Antonio Pieroni.[1]
The reference in the book below is the only reference on the internet. Her husband is not even mentioned in that book so I don't know how it is known who she married. If anyone can find out anything else about her I would be amazed. Why does she call herself Pieroni Davenport if she was married to Antonio Pieroni? At that period you would put your husband's name last, not in the middle of your name. Was her maiden name Davenport? Every other source on the internet just copies this wording from the 1889 book, and really no-one knows anything about her.
