Faizal Zainal

Faizal Zainal (born 12 February 1974) is a retired Malaysian international footballer.[1]

In this Malay name, there is no family name. The name Zainal is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by the given name, Faizal. The Arabic-derived word "bin" or "binti"/"binte", if used, means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.

His twin brother, Khairil Zainal was also a footballer.[2] Their younger brother, Abdul Halim Zainal is currently a footballer with Negeri Sembilan FA, where the twins formerly played for.[3]
