Eurycea arenicola
Eurycea arenicola, the Carolina Sandhills salamander, is a species of salamander discovered in the year 2020 in North Carolina.[1] The species was discovered and verified by North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.[2] It is aesthetically described as spotted, crimson-orange, and lives in springs and blackwater rivers. [3]
