The wingspan is about 34 mm for males and 47 mm for females. The ground colour of the males is rufous fawn, while females are more yellowish. The postmedial lines on both wings are double, with the interior element stronger, parallel to the margin on the forewing but with a flatter curvature on the hindwings. Males also have thin, crenulate brown fasciae submarginally and on both sides of the medial area. The forewings of the females are irrorated with pinkish and the medial area and fasciae are suffused with dark brown.[2]
