Esra Özatay
Esra Özatay (born 1976) is a Turkish female military officer and aviator. She is the commander of the military aerobatics fleet.

Life and career
Özatay was born in 1976 in Germany. In 1993, she graduated from Kadıköy Girls High School and finished her education at the Turkish Air Force Academy in 1998.[1]
She completed her training at the 2nd Main Jet Base Command between 1998 and 2000 and until 2004 she served as the F-5 Av Prevention aviator at the 132nd Fleet Command at the Konya Air Base 3rd Main Jet Base Command.[1] Özatay, who has also been serving as a aviator trainer since 2010, joined the 134th Acrotim Fleet Command of Turkish Stars and became their first female member.[2]
In 2014, she joined the 134th Akrotim Fleet Command, which is part of the Turkish Stars, as the first female member of their team. She was appointed as the fleet commander to the Turkish Stars in 2016 and became the first female fleet commander of the Turkish Air Force.[3] She was appointed as Fleet Commander in 2016.[4]
Özatay is married and mother of two.[4]
