Ericka Yancey
Ericka Yancey is an American R&B singer who Recorded Up Up And Away in 1994, but it is not known if it was released or not. Then she signed to RCA Records in 1996. Her debut album Ericka was slated to be released in 1997, but was ultimately shelved after her lead singles, "So Good" and "Wait a While", failed to make an entry on the Billboard Hot 100. In 1998 she recorded a duet with R&B singer TQ.

From 1999 to 2003, Yancey spent time writing, producing and recording background vocals for artists such as Victoria Beckham, Macy Gray, Brownstone, among others.
In 2007, Yancey signed with an independent record label, and began recording solo material for her official debut studio album. Her buzz singles, "One Day" and "Sugarcoat" were released in 2008 via her MySpace page but failed to gain recognition. Yancey's expected debut album was to be released in the fourth quarter of 2008, then it was pushed back to 2009, but then like its predecessor, it was shelved.
As of 2011, Yancey has remained inactive in her musical career.
