Emmanuel Rousseau

Fra' Emmanuel Rousseau is as a Knight Grand Cross of Justice and a member of the Sovereign Council of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta.[1]

Life

Rousseau is the son of Claude Rousseau, an engineer, and an officer of the Order of Leopold II of Belgium.[2]

He made his solemn vows as a full Knight of Justice on May 11, 2011, at the église Sainte-Elisabeth-de-Hongrie in Paris.[3]

He was elected to a five-year term as a member of the Sovereign Council in May 2014.[4] He was elected to a second five-year term as a member of the Sovereign Council in May 2019.[5]

Rousseau is Curator of the Magistral Libraries and Archives[6] and Vice-President of the (French) Académie Historique de l'Ordre de Malte.[7]

Rousseau is President of the Historical Commission for the beatification of Empress Zita of Austria.[8]
