Gameplay

Ellery Queen's Operation: Murder is an interactive murder mystery game in which players watch a videocassette during which clues are read aloud from eight playing cards.[1]

Reception

David M. Wilson reviewed the game for Computer Gaming World, and stated that "The concept of players actively participating in the denouement is not wholly bad [...] because families need to learn how to interact more with each other instead of always viewing their forms of entertainment passively."[1]
