Ecpyrrhorrhoe puralis

Ecpyrrhorrhoe puralis is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by South in 1901. It is found in China (Hubei).[1] It is an introduced species in the eastern United States, where it has been recorded from Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia.[2]

The wingspan is about 25 mm.[3] Adults have been recorded on wing from April to September in North America.

The larvae feed on Paulownia tomentosa.[4]
